I chose this hotel for attending a conference and was impressed with the excellent conferencing facilities provided. The room Kinnarps and the top modern auditorium Johan Olav Koss were perfect for my needs, accommodating 40 and 180 persons respectively. The Olympic Site Vikingskipet, located just across the road, was a convenient and impressive venue. The meeting facilities in the hotel, such as the rooms "En etasje over hverdagen" seating 20 persons, were also great. Other amenities like the coffee shop/cafe, common area refrigerator, and meeting room were beneficial during my stay.
The only service I missed for my work was a business center or dedicated workspace. It would have been helpful to have a quiet area to work on my laptop and take care of business-related tasks.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and cute, providing helpful information about the local area. The location was great, just a short walk from the train station and downtown. The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed. The hotel facilities were nice, and I especially enjoyed the views of the old railway track from my room. The breakfast was a delicious traditional Norwegian spread, served from early in the morning. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, facilities, location, breakfast, and staff.
Nothing bad to say.

For the price we paid, we got great value for money. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a big TV with the option to connect our laptop for movie nights. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, and the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with local information.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if they had a wider variety of tea options, especially a simple black tea without any extra flavors.

I chose this hotel for attending a board meeting, and I was impressed with the excellent conferencing facilities. The room Kinnarps and the top modern auditorium Johan Olav Koss provided a comfortable and professional space for our meetings. The Olympic Site Vikingskipet, located just across the road, added to the overall experience. The meeting facilities, such as the rooms "En etasje over hverdagen," were also well-equipped. Other amenities like the coffee shop/cafe and meeting room were convenient.
The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with printers and computers.

The bunk bed room at Vikingskipet Hotell in Hamar was so cozy and comfortable! I loved the free WiFi, it kept me connected to my friends and family. The room had everything I needed, like a TV and a private bathroom. It felt just like home!
I'm not a big fan of the shower in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

I was delighted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the hotel. The decoration was charming and reminded me of cozy cabins, which made me feel right at home. The common areas were easily accessible for senior people like me, with comfortable seating and handrails to assist with mobility.
I would have liked to see more activities or excursions specifically catered to senior guests.

I always stay here when I visit the city. Staff helped with a taxi number during my first stay. Perfect place, Wi-Fi, free parking, kitchen utensils, shared kitchen. Coming back for a city trip.

the staff was friendly and accommodating, even at late hours. the breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious dishes. Although the rooms were on the smaller side, they were functional and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, like a fridge and mini freezer. the hotel also had a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a good night's sleep.
There was some noise from outside, particularly in the morning when the workers would leave.
